Carbognano, The Palace called “Stallone”

The 1696 Inventory of the Properties of the Lords off Carbognano reports that the building was divided into two units: stables on the lower floor – hence the nickname “The Great Stables” – and a barn on the upper floor. The Inventory also reports that the building situated in front of the stables was a coach garage.

Carbognano, Municipal Hostel

Born as a redevelopment project of a building abuse of the 80s of the twentieth century, in 2020 the building saw the start of works that were finally completed in 2021, bringing the structure back to life.

Carbognano, Municipal Palace

The Municipal Palace of Carbognano was built between the end of the XVI and the beginning of the XVII century by the Modenese architect Gaspare Guerra. It preserves unaltered with the presence of the clock tower, its original grandeur, dominating the side of the castle on the entire village.
